As a unique part of CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System's commitment to care for the individuals and families in our community, we offer the most comprehensive fitness center in our region, complete with the very best equipment, supervision and environment.
The CHRISTUS St. Michael Health & Fitness Center is well-planned for an efficient, enjoyable workout. Within the 15,000-square-foot fitness center, we offer the finest equipment, resources and technology in the region. Additionally, the entire complex is completely handicapped-accessible.

Ab Flow:* A full body workout with an emphasis on abs. You will move from one exercise to the next
in a continuous flow.
Abs & More:*We all want flat abs, but our abdominals are much more important. This class will not only work your abdominal muscle group but you will receive nutritional information to help decrease belly fat.
Cardio Blast:**This class has everything. You will leave knowing you had an awesome workout.
Daily Life Strength Conditioning: *Strength and flexibility training to improve your endurance through life’s daily tasks. This will help you to move and endure your day to day activities with ease!
Endurance & Cardio Training: */**A class designed to train muscles for functional movement and to enhance muscle size and strength. Each class will vary equipment and intensity; work at your own pace.
Introduction to Vintage:* [FREE] this session will be held for those wanting to learn more about Vintage Training. THESE SESSIONS ARE FREE!
Tai Chi :* A 30 minute class of TAI CHI (24 short form, 64 long form and the 32 sword form) that promotes health in a relaxed manner without jarring or hurting the body. Movements are slow with great emphasis on posture, balance, and breath. This form of exercise can be practiced almost anywhere, at any time without any special equipment.
Pilates:* (puh-lah-teez) Mat work combining stretching and strengthening moves that build core strength, improves posture and increases flexibility. Exercises focus on coordinating the breath while engaging the abs, lower back, hips and glutes.
Silver & Fit®: * If you enjoy SilverSneakers® you will enjoy Silver & Fit®.
SilverSneakers® Circuit:* Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers® ball is alternated with low-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is used for standing support, stretching, and relaxation exercises.
SilverSneakers® Classic:* Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers® ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.
Six-Week Turnaround:* [ADDITIONAL FEE REQUIRED] This is a 6 week program that will change every 6 weeks. The instructor will decide the type of class that will be held. Instructors may be from the community offering their specialty class (self-defense, belly dancing, etc.). There will be an additional fee for this class ranging from $10.00 to whatever for the full 6 weeks. The cost will be determined by the instructor.
Spin:** A class taught on stationary bikes. Participants control the intensity.
Spin-X: **A class using the spin bike plus strength training.
Step: ** This class uses a bench of varying height, or you are welcome to do the entire class on the floor for a great cardio workout. The class is a lot of fun but there will be a period of time to learn the language. Give it a few weeks and you will begin to feel confident with the moves
TRX: ** A 30 minute strength building class using suspended straps and your own body weight
Vintage Strength Training:* /** [ADDITIONAL FEE REQUIRED ] Trainers vary on availability.
Vintage training develops a strong body by utilizing a variety of functional movements that work several muscle groups at the same time maximizing workout time. Everyone works at their own pace and ability level. Take advantage of the FREE introductory workout and learn the proper way how to train for maximum functional strength. Join a class to begin you fitness journey now!
Water Aerobics:* This is a group class with choreography moves that are set to music. Silversneaker®
Members are welcome. (Class is held from June thru August of each year)
Water Circuit:* This water class includes moving through stations to receive a vigorous but fun workout. Come and receive a cool workout without knowing how to swim. (Class is held from June thru August of each year)
Yoga (Hatha):** Hatha Yoga focuses on pose alignment, emphasis placed on refining the yoga postures. Class allows for time spent holding poses with breath work. This class meets you where you are, offering modifications to enhance your experience and learning.
Yogalates: * This class consists of Hatha Yoga postures blended with Pilate’s movements. Class will consist of sitting, lying down, and standing movements that will flow together during class.
Yoga/Stretch:* An excellent way to start your day and get the blood flowing. This is a 30 minute
stretch class that incorporates a few yoga poses. Working at your own pace, you will move into slow controlled movements to help relieve tightness in many areas of the body.
